Starting salary £22,500 plus a car or mileage allowance, health and pension

Our client is a well-established traditional contractor from Hertfordshire. They have a rare opportunity for a Trainee Project Manager to join their delivery team. This role would suit someone who has already had some exposure in the industry, in either a trainee Site Management or Quantity Surveying role. Equally they would also consider a recent graduate or tradesman (carpentry).

Projects are both new build and refurbishment by nature and they have a diverse client base, both commercial and residential, across North London and the Home Counties (Herts, Beds and Bucks).
You will embark on a structured training programme, shadowing a Senior Contracts Manager, visiting sites, meeting clients, measuring up, and arranging cover and appointed subcontractors for projects. A professional and methodical approach to your work is key, in addition you will be computer literate and proficient with Outlook and Excel.
A FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE IS ESSENTIAL.
