The requirement is for a true building professional, who is commercially motivated and at the same time has the necessary drive and enthusiasm not only to assist in the procurement of projects, but also to adopt the overall control for the operations of this new division.
The ability to execute contracts both technically and commercially is of paramount importance, as is the style, professionalism and motivation required to deal effectively with developing a team and expanding their brand in this sector.
A background in either Cost or Project Management is a key pre-requisite, having represented owners, occupiers or developers on major commercial and residential projects in the London market. Previous involvement in a broad spectrum of projects to include: office fit outs, new build commercial and residential developments in the £25million to £100million range is also essential.
The ideal candidate will be qualified, Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) with a first class record of high achievement. The package offered reflects the level and importance of the position and includes a car allowance, pension, life assurance, as well as generous bonus scheme based on the business unit’s profitability.
