Civils Project Manager – Major Earthworks – Airport/Runways

This is a unique opportunity to join a privately owned and operated Civil Engineering Contractor, who are committed to the development of emerging territories in North Africa.
The recent award of a multi-million-dollar ($800m) construction project involving the building of a new international airport with all the infrastructure and associated services.
The requirement is for a seasoned Project Manager/ with at least 10years construction experience including an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of heavy civil engineering on airport projects.
Likely to be a qualified Civil Engineer capable of running the entire project to ensure that all contractual requirements are met in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. You will be working in partnership with a major European contractor. Excellent interpersonal skills are also demanded with both clients and partners alike, to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all construction activities.
Your role initially will involve setting up the project team and to quickly interact with the Client and their representatives to carry out constructability reviews and feasibility studies as required.
The position carries free accommodation (2 bed serviced bungalow in a secure compound), transport, medical cover and living allowance.
