Position title
Senior Building Surveyor
Description

Senior Building Surveyor | Development Management Consultancy | Residential | Construction Jobs | London

Up to £85,000 plus pension, travel allowance, private health & Profit Share

An opportunity to work for a long-established boutique Development Management business who are looking to expand their Building Surveying operations.

This is a new position that would suit a versatile individual who has the drive and ambition to work autonomously and gain exposure on some exciting regeneration schemes to include repurposing landmark buildings and redeveloping brown field sites for new housing, both public and private sector.

It’s likely you will be chartered MRICS or nearing completion of your APC and from a technical building surveying background, working for either a building surveying practice or construction consultancy. Previous experience of residential/housing schemes working for a private practice would be a distinct advantage. In addition, the ability to identify potential new work streams or opportunities to increase their portfolio.

The role could offer the flexibility to work from home or split between our clients well-appointed offices in central London (just North of the River). This is a permanent opportunity offering long term career prospects and the chance to build a team around you, managing and mentoring junior surveyors throughout the APC process.

Candidates must already be living within a daily commute of London as regular visits to sites and the office will be required. Project experience gained on major building projects in excess of £10million in the UK is essential and the ability to manage large survey programmes.
