Senior Project Surveyor – Flagship Development Project – South London
Up to £70,000 package + travel, health and pension
Our client, a well-known name in the field of Main Contracting, is set to undertake a major new build development project in the Greater London area (South of the River), comprising private residential with an element of affordable housing and ancillary community facilities.
They currently require a Senior Project Surveyor to procure and manage packages on the first phase, which is circa £100million in value. Working alongside a Senior QS and with the help of an assistant you will be responsible for the selection and commercial management of appointed subcontractors.
It’s likely you will be degree educated (BSc. Quantity Surveying), with approximately ten years’ experience gained with a leading main contractor or residential developer in the UK. Previous experience of major projects (new build), within the confines of inner city London would be a considerable advantage.
This is the first phase of the redevelopment and this opportunity could lead to a commercial management role within the next two years and should be regarded as a ground floor opportunity for an ambitious quantity surveyor looking to further their career and establish themselves in this arena.
