Our client is a long-established name in this specialist field and is part of an operating division within a larger, highly profitable group who are currently enjoying a period of planned expansion. They have now reached the stage where they seek an ambitious design professional to play a key role in their future development.
The requirement is for self motivated Design Manager with preferable experience within the cladding and curtain walling sector, however they would also consider a someone with a good all-round knowledge of construction gained with a contractor in the UK, or alternatively an allied specialist, such as architectural glazing or scaffolding.
This key role will involve the responsibility for the design of packages up to circa £1million in value for building projects and general management of the design team. At the same time, you will have the ability to delegate and use external resources when required.
