Role Overview:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the financial and contractual management of precast projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cost Management: Preparing, monitoring, and controlling budgets throughout project lifecycles.
- Valuations: Conducting on-site measurements, preparing interim valuations, and ensuring accurate client invoicing.
- Contract Administration: Managing contractual obligations, documenting variations, and resolving disputes.
- Procurement: Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors for precast elements and related works.
- Collaboration: Working closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure seamless delivery.
Key Requirements:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, with a strong background in precast construction projects.
- Familiarity with international standards/contracts to include NEC would be advantageous.
- Previous experience in the UAE or GCC market is highly desirable.
